As a non-profit theater committed to keeping our ticket prices accessible, our box office typically accounts for only 37% of our operating income. The rest of our budget comes from generous foundational support….and individual donors like you.

Your part in bringing our work to life is critical.

Your gift unlocks the potential for brand new plays, immersive design elements, and creates a space for our community to listen, reflect, and share vital lessons that resonate with what it means to experience and foster space for radical change.

 First Floor Theater is a 501(c)3 organization and any contribution is tax-deductible under federal and state law.

Giving what you can in whatever way you can is always appreciated; here at First Floor, we are thrilled to receive donations of any size.

Now, we won’t lie and say cold hard cash donations aren’t vital to keeping us creating. They very much are, and if you’re able to support us in that way, we are endlessly grateful.

But, if your bank account’s got the blues, there are still so many ways that you can flex your giving muscles without costing yourself an extra cent.

Did you know that many different types of workplaces and employers will provide matching donations to your fave non-profit theater, doubling your donation’s impact? Make sure you check with your employer and if you need any help with the paperwork, reach out to Amanda.

We always encourage you to shop small and/or local (we’re both a small and local business ourselves after-all!) but when the lure of Bezos’ convenience is too strong, you can help us out by shopping on Amazon Smile. It’s exactly like Amazon, except by starting your shopping on smile.amazon.com, a portion of the sales from your purchases will be given back to a non-profit of your choosing. Even if you’re just ordering toilet paper, we’ll see a cut. Go ahead and list FFT as your beneficiary.

Join us at an event

Any time you attend an FFT event outside of the theater - from the gala, to our holiday party fundraiser, to a post-show-drag-show - you’re contributing to our annual fund. Make sure you’re following us on Instagram to stay in the know about where the party is. The proverbial party is currently on hold because of COVID, but virtual events help us too!
